I'm a curious person. |
I’m feeling homesick for Paris….a place where I barely felt at home while I was there, but now can not stop thinking about. I walked around a photography gallery today and all I could think about were my friends talking about their photo class, Carol Mann guiding us through the Louvre, and just generally missing some of the most artistic people ever. Sure, it was a scary and unknown place, but I came to love that city so dearly by the end. I’m not sure if it was the memories I’d made, the people I met, or just the general fact THAT I WAS IN PARIS but I miss it! I’m reading Aly’s and Marissa’s blogs about their experiences abroad and it just has me nostalgic for my own travel experiences. Patrick sent me a picture of the Brandenburg gate from his German textbook today too, so now I’ve just got Europe on the mind….
I’m determined to make it back there someday, but a vacation-length visit just won’t ever compare to the experience of actually living in a foreign city for an extended amount of time. *Le sigh*
